Official Collaboration with Google Developers Group Linz

After War for AI Talent and a GDG meetup exchange, Young AI Leaders Austria and GDG Linz formalise co-hosting DevFest.

What began with an invitation to present War for AI Talent at a GDG Linz Meetup—and continued when GDG joined that event to explore collaboration—became official: Young AI Leaders Austria and Google Developers Group Linz partnered to co-host Google DevFest Linz.

What happened

DevFest is Google’s global developer festival for learning, building, and collaboration. The Linz edition was set as a full day dedicated to AI: prototyping real solutions with modern tools and APIs, and connecting developers and AI enthusiasts across Austria.

The collaboration grew from mutual presence at community events into a shared production commitment for 6 December 2025.

Why it matters

Local developer groups and AI-for-Good hubs reach overlapping talent with complementary strengths. Formal partnership turns that overlap into a durable platform for hands-on AI learning in Linz.
