Official Launch of the Linz Hub

Young AI Leaders Austria officially launched the Linz hub on 20 January 2025, joining the global Young AI Leaders community under the United Nations’ AI for Good initiative.

What happened

The launch was confirmed by Alexandra Bustos Iliescu, establishing Linz as an active hub within the worldwide network of young people working on ethical, inclusive, and impact-driven AI. From day one, the focus was clear: build a local community that connects talent, education, industry, and policy around AI for Good.

Why it matters

A formal hub gives Upper Austria a structured home for youth-led AI engagement—workshops, hackathons, partnerships, and policy dialogue—while linking Linz to peers across continents. That local-to-global connection is the foundation for everything that followed.
