Young AI Leaders Austria represented the Linz hub at the AI for Good Global Summit 2025 in Geneva—hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with more than 50 United Nations agencies.
What happened
The summit brought together over 11,000 participants from 169 countries around one core question: how AI can advance the Sustainable Development Goals. The programme mixed global stages and community voices—from cultural performances to leading AI researchers—while youth hubs shared how local programmes translate AI for Good into practice.
Why it matters
Geneva connects the Linz hub’s local work to the UN system’s AI for Good agenda. Presence at the summit strengthens Young AI Leaders Austria’s role as a bridge between Upper Austrian talent and global policy, innovation, and youth networks.
