Coding Community Roundtable at Digital City Studio

The Software & Industry team represented Young AI Leaders Austria at the Coding Community Roundtable, hosted by Wirtschaft & Innovation Linz at the new Digital City Studio.

What happened

The studio—currently hosting Interdisciplinary Transformation University (IT:U)—offers a space for research, discussion, and collaboration around Linz’s digital future. The roundtable connected communities including 0xA Science Association, Technologieplauscherl Linz, and CoderDojo Linz to share updates and explore stronger collaboration.

Participants also learned about Sindbad, a social business mentoring programme where professionals support young people one-to-one on their educational path.

Why it matters

A healthy AI ecosystem is more than one organisation. Roundtables like this weave the Linz hub into the city’s maker and coding fabric—so talent, mentoring, and events reinforce each other.
