Hack-Nation Global AI Hackathon in Linz

Linz hosted Hack-Nation’s Global AI Hackathon with $30K+ prizes, $150K+ API credits, and factory300 as venue.

On 25–26 April 2026, Young AI Leaders Austria hosted Hack-Nation’s 5th Global AI Hackathon in Linz—alongside hubs including MIT, Stanford, Munich, Oxford, Zurich, and online participants.

What happened

The hackathon offered more than $30K in prizes and $150K+ in API credits, with top teams entering an incubation track mentored by experts connected to Microsoft, OpenAI, Harvard, Stanford, and other networks. The format welcomed builders without a pre-formed team or polished idea. factory300 was locked in as the official Linz venue.

Across the global event: 1,500+ hackers from 70+ countries, a venture track to turn projects into startups, elite mentorship, and a local hub to network Austria’s AI talent. Apply and learn more at hack-nation.ai.

Why it matters

A selective global hackathon with a real Linz venue puts Upper Austria on the same map as leading university hubs—and gives local builders the credits, mentors, and peers needed to ship.
