SheBuilds on Lovable for International Women’s Day
The Linz hub co-hosted a SheBuilds workshop with Lovable—lowering barriers to building with AI on 8 March.
On 8 March 2026, Young AI Leaders Austria co-hosted a SheBuilds on Lovable session in Linz for International Women’s Day—moving from idea to event in days with partners including Desirée Schatzl and Startrampe Sparkasse OÖ.
What happened
Lovable opened the platform for 24 hours with no paywall, plus access to $100 in Anthropic API credits and $250 in Stripe fee credits. Nearly 500 builders had already registered globally; Linz aimed to bring more local participants into that wave. Across the world, 120+ SheBuilds on Lovable events launched around International Women’s Day.
Supporters included Lovable, Anthropic, Stripe, Shopify, Women in AI Austria, AI Upper Austria, AI Austria, AI Factory Austria, Wirtschaft & Innovation Linz, Startrampe Sparkasse OÖ, and JKU – LIT Open Innovation Center.
Why it matters
Equity is not only access to tools—it is lowering the barrier to actually use them. Spaces where curiosity is enough help more people test ideas, fail safely, and discover they can build too.
